I just qualified at age 50 for the Boston Marathon and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Heather!  Massage therapy should be part of every athlete’s training plan.  Don’t think of massage as a luxury but a necessity that helps you stay healthy and perform your best.  I first went to Heather when she was working at the AE Finley YMCA and I followed her to her own practice when the Y could no longer offer massage.  If you are looking for a great sports massage, I highly recommend Heather.  It is well worth your time and money.

I've been a colleague of Michael's for close to two years and I respect his skills and confidently recommend him to clients who need his special strengths and talents. He is enthusiastic in his study of anatomy and he applies this to his work, providing a massage that is detailed and specific to his client's needs. You're in good hands with Michael.

Micheal it's Rachel just wanted to thank
you againfor working on me the other day. I really enjoyed mymassage.
You have great pressure...I liked how youslowly progressed from a med
pressure to a firmerpressure. I am used to having a consistantly
firmpressure the entire time  (and I prefer a firmpressure for most of
my massage) but it was a nicechange to feel like I was getting a
relaxing massageas well as a deep tissue massage. I liked that you
hadsoft hands and I felt that you were very professionalwith your
draping and explaining what you were doingand where you were about to
work. The hot towels werea nice touch and I loved  loved loved the
facemassage.Thanks again,Rachel

My name is Donna Dermyer, and I am a 60 year old woman from Omaha, Nebraska.  My son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and new twin grandsons live in Youngsville.  Therefore, I have become a frequent visitor to this area.
I was blessed with very good health up until the time I was 55 years old.  I then was in two accidents which left me with bulging discs, thoracic problems, and chronic muscle tightness.  More recently, I have had two small strokes within the last year.  Prior to these incidents I occasionally had a massage just for pleasure, but now I have a therapeutic deep tissue massage weekly.  I have been to many massage therapists in Omaha.
When the twins were born I offered to fly from Omaha and stay in Youngsville to help for two months.  I tried to locate a warm water therapy pool and a massage therapist for that period of time.  The  A E Finley Branch of the YMCA was recommended to me.
When I made my first massage appointment at the YMCA, it happened by chance to be with Heather.  I can honestly say that it was by far the best therapeutic massage I have ever had.  Before she started she listened to me describe areas that had been affected by my injuries and strokes and asked if there were places that I wanted her to concentrate on.  She also checked to make sure the amount of pressure that she used was satisfactory.  But best of all, Heather had "magic fingers" that worked into problem areas with wonderful motions and the deep pressure that was needed.
As Heather continued the massage I asked her what she was feeling in those problem areas.  I was impressed by her knowledge of the body (muscles, nerves, bones, etc.) and the connections between the various parts.  After the massage Heather patiently took the time to show and explain to me the anatomy of the problem areas on charts and posters.  She also demonstrated for me several exercises that I could do at home
I knew immediately that I had found my best therapist and wished I could take her back to Omaha with me when I had to return.  Of course, that wasn't going to happen, but now, every time I visit my children and grandchildren I schedule appointments with Heather.  When I was at the front desk scheduling an appointment, I commented that she has wonderful technique and knowledge.  They said that they frequently hear similar comments.  I hope that you have the pleasure of receiving a massage from Heather some time.  I'm sure that you will agree with my comment that she has magic fingers.

"I have been very pleased with all massage and body work performed by Mr. Searle. He takes his work seriously, is very thorough, and beyond technical skills, seems to have a good intuitive sense with his clients. I can highly recommend him."

When I met Heather for the first time, I had only a week to recover from devastating hip pain before running the Boston Marathon.  With non-refundable plane tickets, entry fees and hotel reservations there was no question of backing out.  Yet even walking down the stairs was painful!  Heather targeted the area of pain and went to work, following up with advice on how to stretch the affected area.  She also gave me advice on pre-marathon nutrition to prevent cramping.  With Heather’s help, not only was I able to run the marathon – I did my best time!   I have returned to Heather regularly so that I can continue to train hard.  I highly recommend her to any serious athlete striving for peak performance!
